Telehealth Consent

Effective July 30, 2026

Yes Clinic provides care online. This page explains what that means, what it is good for, where it falls short, and what you are agreeing to when you request a consultation.

How care works here

You complete an intake questionnaire about your health, your history and your goals. A licensed U.S. healthcare professional reviews it. If treatment is appropriate, they issue a prescription, which is dispensed by a licensed U.S. pharmacy and shipped to you. If treatment is not appropriate, they will tell you, and you will not be charged for medication.

Some treatments require bloodwork before a provider will prescribe. Where that applies, it is stated on the product page.

What telehealth cannot do

This is the part worth reading twice.

  • A provider reviewing your intake cannot physically examine you. Some conditions cannot be safely diagnosed without an in-person examination.
  • Care depends entirely on the accuracy of what you tell us. Incomplete or inaccurate information can lead to an inappropriate prescription.
  • Technology can fail. Messages can be delayed, and information can be lost or delivered late.
  • Yes Clinic is not emergency care. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
  • Telehealth does not replace having a primary care provider. We encourage you to have one, and to tell them about any treatment you receive from us.

Your part of the agreement

  • You will give accurate, complete information about your health, your medications and your history.
  • You are at least 18 years old and are located in a state where we operate.
  • You are requesting treatment for yourself, and you will not share medication with anyone else.
  • You will follow up as your provider asks, including any bloodwork.
  • You will tell your provider promptly about side effects or changes in your health.

Your rights

  • You can withdraw consent and stop treatment at any time.
  • You can ask for a copy of your medical records.
  • You can ask questions before starting, and expect a clear answer about benefits, risks and alternatives, including the alternative of no treatment.
  • A provider may decline to prescribe. That is a clinical judgement made in your interest, not a customer-service decision.

Privacy

Your consultation and medical information are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Your Privacy Choices. Medical records are retained as required by law and cannot be deleted on request.
