If this is an emergency

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not wait for a reply from Yes Clinic. Yes Clinic does not provide emergency or urgent care.

Seek emergency care right away if you have chest pain, trouble breathing, swelling of the face, lips or throat, a severe rash, fainting, an erection lasting more than four hours, sudden vision loss, or sudden hearing loss.

Before you start any treatment

All prescription products require an online consultation with a licensed healthcare professional, who will determine whether a prescription is appropriate for you.
Tell your provider about every medication and supplement you take, including anything bought without a prescription.
Tell your provider about your full medical history, including heart, liver, kidney, thyroid or mental-health conditions.
Treatment is not available in all states.
Do not share your medication with anyone else.

About compounded medications

Some Yes Clinic products are compounded and prepared by a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy under section 503A. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and their safety and effectiveness have not been evaluated by the FDA. Compounded products are prescribed when a licensed provider determines a compounded formulation is clinically appropriate for you.

Erectile function and sexual wellness treatments

Applies to tadalafil, sildenafil, and combination fast-dissolve formulations.

Never take these with nitrates. Combining a PDE5 inhibitor with nitrate medicines (such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide) or with recreational “poppers” (amyl or butyl nitrite) can cause a sudden, dangerous drop in blood pressure that may be fatal.
Tell your provider if you take alpha-blockers or blood-pressure medicines, as the combination can cause dizziness or fainting.
An erection lasting more than four hours (priapism) is a medical emergency and can permanently damage the penis. Seek care immediately.
Stop and seek care for sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, or sudden decrease or loss of hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears or dizziness.
Sexual activity carries a degree of cardiac risk. Tell your provider if you have heart disease or have been advised to avoid sexual activity.
Common side effects can include headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, back pain and muscle aches.

Weight management treatments (GLP-1 and related)

Applies to semaglutide, oral semaglutide, tirzepatide and related products.

Thyroid tumour warning. In rodent studies, medicines in this class caused thyroid C-cell tumours. It is not known whether they cause these tumours in people. Do not use if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), or if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Tell your provider immediately about a lump or swelling in the neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing or shortness of breath.
Stop and contact your provider for severe, persistent stomach pain, with or without vomiting, which may signal pancreatitis.
Gallbladder problems, including gallstones, have been reported.
Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea are common, especially when starting or increasing a dose, and can lead to dehydration and kidney problems. Keep fluids up and tell your provider if symptoms are severe.
Risk of low blood sugar is higher if you also take insulin or a sulfonylurea.
Tell your provider if you have a history of diabetic retinopathy, pancreatitis, kidney disease or gastrointestinal disease.
Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Hair loss treatments

Applies to finasteride, dutasteride and minoxidil-containing products.

Pregnancy warning. Finasteride and dutasteride can cause birth defects in a male fetus. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant must not handle these medications, particularly if a tablet is broken or crushed. Keep out of reach of women who are or may become pregnant.
Sexual side effects, including reduced desire, difficulty with erections and changes in ejaculation, have been reported. Some men have reported these continuing after stopping. Tell your provider if you experience them.
Changes in mood, including depressed mood, have been reported. Seek help promptly if you experience thoughts of self-harm.
These medicines lower PSA levels. Tell any provider ordering a PSA test that you take them.
Topical minoxidil can cause scalp irritation, itching or unwanted facial hair growth. Stop and contact your provider for chest pain, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, or sudden unexplained weight gain or swelling.
Shedding in the first weeks is common. Results take months, and stopping treatment reverses gains.

Testosterone and hormone treatments

Applies to testosterone therapy, enclomiphene and related hormone products.

Testosterone is a controlled substance. Use only as prescribed and store securely.
Do not use if you have breast cancer, or known or suspected prostate cancer.
Testosterone can reduce sperm production and impair fertility. Tell your provider if you may want to father children.
Testosterone can raise red blood cell counts. Your provider will monitor this with bloodwork.
Tell your provider about heart, liver or kidney disease, high blood pressure, or sleep apnoea.
Not for use by women, and not for use during pregnancy.
Report swelling in the ankles, breathing problems during sleep, unusual mood changes, or breast tenderness or enlargement.

Other treatments

Products including peptide, injectable nutrient, topical and oral wellness formulations may be compounded and are not FDA-approved. Discuss expected benefits, risks and alternatives with your provider before starting. Tell your provider immediately about any rash, swelling, difficulty breathing or reaction at an injection site.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Tell your provider if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Several Yes Clinic treatments are not suitable in these circumstances.

Reporting side effects

Tell your Yes Clinic provider about any side effect. You may also report side effects directly to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration at fda.gov/medwatch or by calling 1-800-FDA-1088.
